You can think of the caliper as a tool that acts like a ruler.

Once fixed, it forms an accurate angle

to match the desired millimeters,

making it a very useful tool when designing.

Each clinic may use different tools

when designing.

to plan a customized design tailored to each individual.

When designing,

it is most fundamental to design while seated.

We need to check the process of opening and closing the eyes,

and since we always face people while standing,

it is most important to design while seated

to clearly see how much the eyebrows droop

and how much the skin covers the eyes.

After the initial design while seated,

we must check it once more while lying down.

The reason is that you may be tense while sitting,

and if you close your eyes tightly, the skin may appear to droop a lot

due to the direction of gravity and force.

Therefore, we check it again while lying down,

relaxing as much as possible

and not frowning.

Thus, we must check if there is a significant difference

between sitting and lying down

before deciding on the final design.

This can commonly happen during eye surgery.

The reason is that when administering anesthesia, it is usually kept to a minimum

of less than 1cc per eye,

but if the skin itself is very thin,

the left and right sides may swell differently.

In this case, even if the design and incisions were made identically,

both sides may look different.

and to proceed as originally planned.
